GREEN POWER FOR THE WEAVING LOOM

Photovoltaics in Germany is becoming increasingly important in power generation.

Weisse & Eschrich has also recognized and implemented the signs of the times. In expansion stage 1, all office buildings were equipped with a powerful photovoltaic system. More are to follow in the near future.
Despite the rather average length of sunshine in northern Bavaria, the installed systems are intended to supplement the power consumption of the weaving machines with sustainable energy.

The so called “Rennsteig wind farm” which is planned for completion in 2028, should ideally take over the company's entire energy supply from this point in time.
