The HeatTreatmentCongress is organized yearly by AWT and is the biggest event in heat treatment and materials science in Europe
The congress has a duration of three days and is simultaneously translated (German-English).
The 75th HeatTreatmentCongress takes place from 22-24 October 2019 in Cologne, trade fair.
AWT does no longer limit program subjects of its Heat Treatment Congress 2018 to certain specialisations. Instead, the full competence ranges of AWT as leading association in heat treatment and materials engineering was presented:
•heat treatment processes
•heat treatment equipment and media
•heat treatment results (material structures, properties, residual stresses, distortion)
•heat treatment simulation
•process chains (processes before and after heat treatment)
•materials analysis, quality control
• new materials
